Nick, who was born and raised in Southern Alberta, loves the mountains and the Bow River. It’s obvious no matter where you meet him – on the street in Canmore, on the river, or if you stop to talk fishing at the shop, you can tell this place holds a special place in his heart. Whether it’s a guided fishing trip, fly casting lessons, or expertise on fishing, hunting and archery you are after – Nick’s your guy.
Aaron Davies
Aaron has lived in the Bow Valley since he was 6 years old. Although Aaron enjoys traveling, he is proud to call Canmore home. He has a passion for fishing and the outdoors and is happy to assist all customers. From those looking to get into fishing for the first time, to the experienced angler, he can help! Aaron can be found working in the shop, or guiding clients on a guided fishing trip. Customers enjoy Aaron’s enthusiasm for quality products, and often find themselves out in front of the shop, “demoing” Aaron’s latest fly rod!
Dale Meier
Dale has been fishing the Bow River and surrounding lakes since he was a young boy. Born and raised in Canmore, Dale has a passion for fishing, and enjoys sharing his knowledge of the area and fishing expertise with our clients. A day on the river with Dale is always enjoyable.
Myles Sarnecki
Myles is born and raised in the Bow Valley and has a passion for all things outdoors. He is our enthusiastic and knowledgeable resident Firearms and Archery Specialist. Myles provides our customers with a variety of options to assist with their purchase decisions, along with a great customer experience. Myles also has a passion for fishing and assists customers with tackle and equipment selection.
Marla Schlachter
Marla has called Canmore home since 1999, and loves the mountain community. She can be found in the back office on weekends, managing the accounting function, social media and jumping in to help wherever needed. She enjoys fishing with Nick in her spare time, and joining in on some friendly fishing competitions with the boys.
